oh i never worked with gifs before because they ruin the overall quality.. I don't know where you can find sites or tutorials because I am self taught
I also sometimes use After Efects program sine I learned it at uni.. but i have taught myself the techniques..i only was able to learn the basics of AE
Do you have a background in flash? because flash is mostly used to start understanding the key to animation and such. (:
